Dr. Shahlaie dental training took place in England, at the University of London. Following Dental School, he embarked upon a training, where he gained a broader experience in other aspects of dentistry as well as general private practice where he remained for 1 1/2 years. His training in Periodontics was at Loma Linda University where he received a Certificate of Specialty as well as a Masters Degree in Periodontology. Following his residency, he became an assistant professor at Loma Linda University in a clinical setting, where he was engaged in diagnosis, treatment planning, laboratory and clinical periodontal treatment with junior and senior dental students. Dr. Shahlaie completed his Board Certification in 2004 and was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Periodontology.
