Dr. Vermeys is originally from Los Angeles California but now calls sunny Arizona his home. He is a board-certified Anesthesiologist in Arizona as well as California and his other specialties include OB, pediatric, regional, bariatric, and out-patients practices.

He received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Arizona and then went on to pursue his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. After receiving his medical degree, he went on to complete his Anesthesiology Residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.
 

Dr. Steven Vermeys also belongs to a number of professional societies: the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Arizona Society of Anesthesiologists, the Arizona Medical Association, the Society of Ambulatory Anesthesia as well as the International Anesthesia Research Society just to name a few.
