Due to the most recent news regarding novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to inform you that our office has taking every day procedures to insure the health and safety of patients and staff.
Our goal is to protect and provide a safe environment every time you visit our office. Your health is our highest priority. Our office is following the rules that the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Dental Association (ADA) has applied during this time.
With the current concern regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) we want to assure you McDowell Dentistry is committed to maintain a healthy environment for our patients and employees. To this end, we want to stress that McDowell Dentistry maintains the highest standard of OSHA compliant instrument and equipment sterilization and disinfectant. Our clinics are always cleaned, sanitized and disinfected after each patient encounter as standard operating procedure for our medical grade clinic.
In an effort to help control the spread of the coronavirus, our office will limit appointments to essential and emergency procedures until further notice.
If you have an upcoming hygiene or non-urgent appointment:
We will be in contact with you soon to reschedule and we will notify you when we are fully prepared to resume business as usual for all of our patients.
Our phone lines will remain open for your questions and concerns. If you are experiencing pain or have any dental emergency, please call our office.
Some of these new guidelines, we will be following in response to the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic:
-Temporarily implementing patient screening before scheduling appointment and during appointment.
-Waiting room is temporarily closed. If you have an appointment, we ask that you wait in your car and contact us via phone or text at 623.536.2040 to inform us you have arrive to your dental appointment
While we are doing everything in our power to protect you, we also ask for your cooperation in making our office environment a safe one when you visit us. If you have a cough, fever, or chills, please call our office to discuss whether or not you should reschedule. We will be checking temperatures on all patients as they enter and anyone with a reading over 99.9 degrees may be asked to reschedule at least three weeks later as a precaution.
